Ecolite Technologies (Tanzania) is proposing to establish a large Jatropha/Castor plantation, and an extraction facility in the Handeni district of Tanzania, Africa.

Ecolite Technologies (USA) would develop a modern state of the art Biodiesel Plant with an initial capacity of 10 million gallon per year (MGPY) or 40,000 MTPY of Biodiesel and 1 million gallon per year (MGPY) or 4,000 MTPY of glycerol.

We believe such projects would help create a sustainable and viable biofuel industry.

The timing for non-edible Vegetable Oil for the production of Biodiesel could not be better. - The implications are substantial. This project will help meet some of the strategic environmental requirements of the region, while allowing for the financial realities of infrastructural investments in biofuel technology to be suitably realized.
