To really help the people in Africa so they can become less dependent on donations the solution can only come through projects like this that are profitable so they can be sustainable. Please click on "Project Overview" for more details.

The key to the future of Biofuel is finding inexpensive feed stocks that can be grown by farmers on marginal agricultural land. Jatropha oil plants hold a great deal of promise and can emerge as a major alternative to crude oil thus:

  • Reducing our dependence on Oil imports
  • Saving precious Foreign Exchange
  • Substituting for diesel, kerosene and other fuels
  • Providing environmentally safe and biodegradable alternative
  • The human consequences and the economic costs of failing to act are unthinkable.

  • Record floods and droughts
  • Diseases and pests spreading to new areas
  • Crop failures and famines
  • Melting glaciers with global impact
  • The timing for non-edible Vegetable Oil for the production of biofuel could not be better. - The implications are substantial. This project will help meet some of the strategic environmental requirements of USA, while allowing for the financial realities of infrastructural investments in biofuel technology to be suitably realized.

The vegetable oil energy project has the potential to offset environmentally and climatically harmful emissions from diesel. A reduction of CO2 to the extent of present CO2 emissions from fossil fuel (diesel) can be achieved if the project becomes fully operational as envisaged.

Emissions of other gases such as carbon monoxide (50%), hydrocarbons (90%) and particulate matter (30%) are also reduced leading to an improved environment. Estimates of carbon abatement indicate reductions of up to 10 t Co2/ha. The potential for carbon abatement is thus high from the plantations and the production of biofuel.

Other potential rewards to the economy, the environment and the country include:

  • Agricultural/rural development – Creation of income opportunities & economic activities
  • Creation of over 100 permanent jobs and other indirect employment opportunities
  • The Use of clean and efficient technologies
  • Optimizes the use of natural resources
  • We are a development stage company and we anticipate that we will require significant time and financing before we generate any revenue.

Ecolite Technologies has completed the following:

  • Memorandum and Articles of Association
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Tax Payer ID
  • Pending Certificate of Incentive
  • Pending off-taker contract
  • The operation will primarily consist of the following divisions:

  • Plantation
  • Solvent Crushing Plant
  • Biomass Co-generation
  • Biodiesel
  • Research and Development
  • Ecolite Technologies has the timing, location, technology, sourcing, customers and knowledgeable management to execute this plan and bring it to attainable levels of success.
